Wingspan, our competitive, medium-weight, engine-building board game, invites you to step into the shoes of bird enthusiasts – researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors – seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your network of wildlife preserves. Each bird you play extends a chain of powerful combinations in one of your habitats, focusing on several key aspects of growth:

Gain food via custom dice in a birdfeeder dice tower Lay eggs using miniatures in a variety of colors Draw from over 170 unique bird cards and play them

The winner is the player with the most points after 4 rounds. Wingspan is a game of 1-5 players with a playtime of 70 minutes, suitable for ages 14 and up.

In Wingspan, you will: Draw from over 170 unique bird cards, each with its own ability to benefit you at various points throughout the game Roll the dice to gain the necessary food tokens to play the birds you wish to add to your preserve Lay eggs using the egg miniatures, as eggs are worth points at the end of the game and are also necessary to advance your bird sanctuary

Wingspan has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Kennerspiel des Jahres in 2019. The game features a beautiful, realistic, and naturalistic art style by Natalia Rojas, Ana Maria Martinez Jaramillo, and Beth Sobel, with each element of the bird cards thoughtfully designed to tie into the theme and mechanics.
